This parameter refers to the emails sent to your contacts and specific action the contact has taken. These are some of the parameters you can use to target contacts.

You can use these by themselves or combine with other parameters to narrow your segment further.

Emails

  • Email sent - Indicates the contact has been sent the specified email.
  • Email not sent - Indicates the contact has not been sent the specified email.
  • Email opened - Indicates the contact has opened the specified email. 
  • Email not opened - Indicates the contact has not opened the specified email. 
  • Email clicked - Indicates the contact has clicked a link within the specified email. 
  • Email not clicked - Indicates the contact has not clicked a link within the specified email.

Note: Contacts who have not received an email will also meet the email not opened / not clicked conditions

If you wish to only target contacts who have been sent an email but not opened it, use both the email sent AND the email not opened conditions together. Alternatively, if you're using the Campaign Builder you can simply connect the email has not been opened condition to the email sent action.
