Tags can be grouped into categories to keep them organised.
Think of categories as the "storage buckets" or folders you keep to store your tags inside.
All Pathfinder accounts include a selection of categories by default. These categories can be searched for and filtered by selecting Contacts - Tags - Filter Categories:
Pathfinder Pro users can create custom tag categories for easier organization. They can also be allocated a color for easy identification.
"Max one" Rule
Categories can also be restricted with a rule stating max one tag at a time per contact. Contacts will only have one tag from this category set simultaneously.
An example of this is the Customer status category. As a contact cannot simultaneously be an active and lapsed customer, when any tag from this category is set, any previous tag from this category will be removed by the category's "max one" rule.
